Meet adorable little Ana. I loved her hair! And her - she was great to work with. It was great to see her momma again (you'll recognize her from her maternity photos in March) and meet her daddy - a soldier currently stationed at Fort Drum.
I absolutely fell in love with maternity sessions this month. They are simply beautiful. Radiant. Look at Anna! She really is glowing. It was such a pleasure meeting and working with this family. The day turned out to be rainy and gloomy so we did the majority of the session indoors. It was nice to be able to capture some lifestyle type photos with her family.
Remember a couple of weeks ago when it was so hot out you thought you would melt? I certainly do! We did this photo session on one of those days. Isabelle was a trooper - we were shooting at the hottest point of the day. Isn't she the cutest? Can you believe all of that hair?! It is gorgeous! She was such a little model and SO stylish in her little yellow peacoat. I had such a great time working with this family!
How stinkin' cute is JJ?! Not only is he adorable, he is a sweetheart too. It was a pleasure meeting him and his momma. This was also the first opportunity I had to use this chair my husband made me out of an old suitcase. I love how it turned out, and it was perfect for JJ.
He loved this little wagon and didn't want to put it down the whole session.

Check out the photos of this beautiful family! Okay, I'm a little biased because this is MY family. Meet some of my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandmas! We did these the day after Christmas and it was so great to have everyone together. The cousins are spread out from the left coast to the right coast so we had to take advantage of having everyone together under one roof. Enjoy!

Oh Grandma...
Sisters!!! Sisters are near and dear to my heart, and so are these three beautiful girls. They wanted to surprise their momma with updated photos. It was a chilly day but we were armed with hot chocolate and adorable gloves! We took lots of breaks to warm up and they really rocked the camera. I had so much fun and love the results. These girls are just plain gorg.
You might recognize a few of these pretty faces from another family session I did over Thanksgiving weekend. I had the pleasure of working with Sarah, Joe and cutie pie Christian two days in a row! This was another great session - this family is just plain HAPPY. Can you feel it? Such a pleasure working with them!

We were fortunate to have an absolutely beautiful Thanksgiving Day weekend in Syracuse this year. We snuck this family session in right before the weather was supposed to turn bad. I'm glad we did! The boys kept us running the whole time but were so fun to play with - they are so sweet.
This momma is one of my dear friends and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to do some pictures of her and big sister Claire before it got too chilly out. I am so excited to meet this peanut in December!
This was such a fun family - full of energy and full of love. I had a great time going through all of the photos once again as I edited them. The smiles are contagious.
I had the pleasure of meeting this family a couple of weeks ago. It was my first non-toddler family session. :) Sisters. I love sisters. These lovely little girls are so sweet and pure - you can tell from the moment you meet them that they have huge hearts.
This family was the best! Big sister wanted to run run run! She has so much personality and wasn't afraid to show it. Little brother loved to look on and try out everything after she showed him it was okay. We ran around, played in the leaves, climbed trees and had a fun morning at the park.
I'm not gonna lie - I was nervous to photograph this family. It was my first family of 5! But it turned out great - they were a pleasure to work with. The kids are angels (as you can see from below) and the parents are so sweet and loving. That will teach me - no more being nervous! I'm excited for the next opportunity and so glad I had the chance to capture the love in this family.

Before I left DC I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful family. Rain threatened us for days, but held off - and made the grass so green! And seriously - how adorable is the babe?
